Dr. Pamela Fry announced her retirement as president of Oklahoma State University-Tulsa on July 19. She will officially move from the role on Jan.3 after 20 years of service at OSU.
Fry became OSU-Tulsa’s fourth president in 2019, following a two-year period as its provost. Before moving to Tulsa, she spent six years as the dean of the College of Education in Stillwater and was also interim provost.
During her time at OSU-Tulsa, the school formed an initiative with Tulsa Community College to provide access to bachelor’s degrees for students who do not have access to a traditional four-year university.
Before joining OSU in 2001, Fry served for 12 years as a faculty member and administrator at the University of Oklahoma. She earned her bachelor’s degree at OU and a master’s and doctorate from OSU.
