From 1928 to 1950, Julia E. Stout served as Oklahoma A&M College's first full-time dean of women. Nationally known for her residence hall program and her student assistant academic course, Dean Stout provided campus leadership in the creation of a chapter of the Association of Women Students, a national chapter of Mortar Board and the Grand Council.
