Blue Key, which started as a men's leadership and service fraternity, was installed at Oklahoma A&M College in 1932 as a counterpart to the women’s Mortar Board honor society.

Today's Blue Key Honor Society recognizes both men and women who are juniors or seniors for their scholarship, leadership, faith and service.
