For the second time in history, Oklahoma A&M College's crop judging team placed first in both the Kansas City National and Chicago International crops judging contests.

Bob Wright (at left in photo) became the first individual in the nation to win first place in both contests. The win in Chicago was the third consecutive win in the international contest, a first for any institution.

Wright’s team included (next photo) Bob Brumley, Allen Elliott, Water Ross, Hugh Rouk, Eldon Hood, and sponsor Hi W. Staten.
