Texas oil and ranching alumni Malone and Amy Mitchell gifted OSU $57.2 million dollars, the second largest gift ever given to OSU.

The gift was split evenly between the business school and athletics and it helped create a state-of-the-art entrepreneurship program in the Spears School of Business, which is now regarded as one of the best entrepreneurship programs in the country.

Malone graduated with a degree in agriculture at OSU in 1983. Amy is a 1983 graduate of OSU’s College of Human Environmental Sciences, where she obtained a degree in family relations and child development.
