The OSU Development Foundation's name is officially changed to the OSU Foundation. The chief volunteer position becomes chairman of the board and the vice chairman position is added. The chief salaried employee became president and the secretary-treasurer position is split while the director of major gifts position is added.
Charles Platt (pictured) served as the foundation’s chief staff member from 1974 until 1992, overseeing and offering guidance during a period of early growth.
