The College of Home Economics was renamed the College of Human Environmental Sciences to better reflect its current programs and their scientific roots.
Students study biological, physical, social and behavioral sciences and go onto careers in government, business, law, medicine, education, counseling and other professional fields.
The college’s title was simplified further to the College of Human Sciences as of July 1, 2011.
