Oklahoma Historical Society Executive Director Bob Blackburn joined Oklahoma State University officials and guests to ring the Old Central bell, marking the dedication and official start of a $7 million restoration and renovation of the 113-year old building on October 10, 2007. The restoration gave Old Central a new foundation and allowed students to return to the building for studies as the new home of the OSU Honors College.
