Extensive renovation on the OSU Student Union began in the fall of 2009, requiring that many of its major services be moved to a temporary building on the lawn east of the Classroom Building. The major services provided in the expansive aluminum building, known as "Utoo" included the bookstore, campus post office, a food court and a student store. Student activities were hosted under a large tent that was pitched nearby.
