2011 Cowboys earn conference championship and Fiesta Bowl win

Fans rushed the field and tore down the goal posts after Oklahoma State University defeated the University of Oklahoma 44-10, giving the Cowboys their first Big-12 Championship for football in school history on December 3, 2011.

The Cowboy defense dominated an explosive Sooner offense and the Bedlam win propelled the Cowboys toward their first BCS Bowl.

The Cowboys went on to beat Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl 41-38 after Brandon Weeden threw for 399 yards and three touchdowns to Justin Blackmon in their final collegiate game.
