OSU has had an amateur radio club since the 1920s. Broadcast central is usually a closet sized room known as "The Ham Shack" in the South Engineering Building, but sometimes the hams take it outside to attract a little attention (pictured).

Members say it's a great club to become more informed about how radios work, meet a diverse group of people from different majors, and prepare for emergency communications.
