Jeff Campbell was the first student to receive a degree in business or “commerce and marketing,” as it was called in 1916.
Campbell, a Delta Sigma was known as “Big Jeff.”
The yearbook describes him as “powerful and effective” at tackle for the football team, which he was captain of and played for four consecutive years. He was also a baseball standout.
