The OSU Helmerich Research Center is a state-of-the-art research, development, testing and education center, located near downtown Tulsa. The research and technology and development center was created in part with a $9 million gift from Walter and Peggy Helmerich, a $30 million commitment from the City of Tulsa through its Vision 2025 initiative and the State’s 2005 higher education bond issue.
The HRC is also home to the OSU School of Materials Science and Engineering, contains laboratories, conference and meeting rooms, and faculty and staff offices. Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and materials science and engineering faculty work collaboratively on research and graduate education.
