John King, DVM, PhD, DACVP (CVM ’55), was awarded the inaugural John M. King Award for Sustained Contribution to Veterinary Pathology from the Charles Louis Davis DVM Foundation for the Advancement of Veterinary and Comparative Pathology. King, a well-known veterinary pathology icon, passed away on April 14, 2016.
