2020 OSU returns to in-person classes in fall 2020

Oklahoma State University announced a safe return to campus in fall 2020 with the Cowboys Coming Back plan.

Campus leadership and a COVID-19 advisory group used summer 2020 to plan for students’ safe return to campus in the fall. OSU mandated social distancing measures and masks, modified classrooms, reduced class sizes and more safety precautions to protect students’ health.

Following the guidance of health officials, OSU began phase one of reopening campus for university employees on June 1. On Aug. 17, the university welcomed students back on campus for in-person classes.
