Located next to Bennett Hall on the northeast corner of campus, Allie P. Reynolds Stadium was officially dedicated in 1982, seated more than 3,000 and was fully lighted. Its namesake, Allie P. Reynolds, was a standout collegiate pitcher at Oklahoma A&M College, and later became the first American League pitcher to throw two no-hitters in one season. Reynolds, shown preparing to speak at graduation, (see additional photo), was the recipient of the Henry G. Bennett Distinguished Service Award from OSU. He died in December 1994 in Oklahoma City. Reynolds Stadium hosted its final game in 2020.
