Men’s golf team earns second national title

The first national crown for coach Mike Holder and the second for the OSU golf program came at Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1976. The Cowboys notched a seven-shot triumph over Brigham Young University. A pair of Cowboys, Lindy Miller and Jaime Gonzalez, tied for 10th place after finishing the four-round tournament at two-over-par. The team (pictured from left) included Miller, Tom Jones, Britt Harrison, Gonzales and David Edwards. Holder is in front.
