In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, OSU hosted its first TED event with TEDxOSTATEU in fall 2012. Using the theme IGNITE, the independently organized event gave OSU students, faculty and alumni a chance to share their ideas with the OSU community through short talks. It included various notable members of the OSU family, such as T. Boone Pickens and OSU First Cowgirl Ann Hargis, and also featured musical acts from groups of students and faculty.
