OSU joins Big 12 Conference

After the Big 8 Conference was dismantled in 1995, OSU was among several universities that became part of the Big 12 Conference. Teams have come and went over the years because of conference realignment, but the current conference as of 2024 consists of: University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Baylor University, Brigham Young University, University of Central Florida, University of Cincinnati, Colorado University, University of Houston, Iowa State University, University of Kansas, Kansas State University, OSU, Texas Christian University, Texas Tech University, University of Utah and West Virginia University.
