Ab Justice became OSU’s first official All-American golfer in 1958, his senior year. A three-year letterman for the Cowboys, the Oklahoma City native was named a first-team selection that same year under head coach Labron Harris Sr.
Justice also won the individual Big Eight Conference crown that year while leading OSU to the team title. The victory was the Cowboys' first Big Eight Conference title and came courtesy of a 33-stroke victory over Oklahoma.
Justice, who died in October of 2013, was the first or more than 160 OSU players have since followed his lead with numerous first team selections and several academic All-American teams as well.
