The Aggies 1948 livestock judging team earned the national championship and help provide a new leader for the college.

The team included (l-r) Glenn Bratcher, E.J. Turman, Bob Totusek, Thomas E. Cox, Myron Schnaithman and J.C. Christensen.

Totusek would return to OSU in 1952 after earning his PhD., serving 38 years and heading the Animal Science Department from 1976 until his retirement in 1990.

The OSU Animal Science Arena, which was built under his leadership, was renamed in his honor in 2015.  Totusek died in June of 2014.
