Oklahoma State University – Okmulgee officially changed its name to OSU Institute of Technology (OSUIT) in 2007 to better reflect the school’s mission.

In 2010, it dedicated the Allied Health Sciences Center, a state-of-the-art 25,000 square foot facility with advanced technology including state-of-the-art simulators, which provide realistic patient care scenarios for students.
