Athletic fundraising added to Foundation
Athletic fundraising, which started with the OSU Educational Foundation in 1959, was officially brought into the OSU Development Foundation in 1966 and a staff member was added to oversee the effort. The OSU Board of Regents also declared the Foundation the proper place for gifts, rather than board.
